Hi Eleanor - There's plenty that will open up for you as you walk the caminho - though one place in particular leapt to mind as I read your post ... don't stop in Pamplona - instead walk on to Cizur Menor and spend the night there. Ask there about an alternative route on the next days walk that goes via a most incredible templar shrine, geometrically constructed, and housing a black virgin. It is called Eunate, is octagonal and stands at a major vortex point.

To enter into the mystery there it is appropriate to walk barefoot around the building (but within the cobbled cloister) seven times - opening you bodies with humility - before entering within. Upon entering stand at the geometric centre of the building for as long as you feel is appropriate.
