TASbase is the name of the database developed by The Antiquarian Society to store knowledge of ancient sites, celestial alignments and Astroarchaeological and related events. It is designed to give public access to all this type of information and anyone can contribute to it.

The Antiquarian Society is running a project to record and archive all known Astro-Archaeological Events on this planet. To achieve this we have built an online database on our website where anyone can look up or add to the record of alignments we have started. Now we need your help!

Do you know of any Celestial or heavenly events that interact with ancient sites or sacred landscapes?

Does the sun rise and hit a peculiar stone on a particular day anywhere in your neighbourhood?

Does the Setting sun shine through a railway tunnel that was built by Victorian secret societies?

At the Spring Equinox, does the Sun cast a shadow that resembles a serpent, at about 4.15pm in the afternoon, lasting about 45 minutes which slides it way down an ancient and sacred staircase on the side of a pyramid? All of which were built by a lost race down the end of your road?

If so we need to hear about it!

We are gathering and collating photos, information and reports regarding Solar, Lunar and Celestial interactions with the earth. Including rise and set positions, shadow casting effects and illuminations.
