Hi Folks
Images speak louder than words . . . source knows there are enough tribes out there where chat happens :-) thought it would be good to have a primarily image based tribe here . . . but talk is good too!
Anyway . . . lets pool our images of the Sacred Landscape!
Do you have images of Lay Lines? I would love to see them . . . Maps of the world with its chakras? Earth Grids? OS maps with small landsacpe temples shown on them?
Have you looked in to your local sacred landscape? What have you found?
Scotland is a facinating place filled with stone circles and old Earth Wisdom . . . see image of one of the Scottish Temples in the photo album . . . centered on Kilwinning. Kilwinning is home to one of the first if not the origional mother lodge of freemasonry in Scotland . . a facinating place!

Re: Welcome!
Wed, April 6, 2005 - 5:13 PMhello its andy, i have recently been to fortingal, stopping off in dunkeld. the car park just over the bridge in dunkeld is beside a hill. i had an urge to go to the top. upon reaching the summit i discovered it was in the shape of the two discs with bridge between ,commonly found on standing stones and the likes. there was a stone circle at one end of the structure. i say structure as i believe it is man made, it is totally out of context with the surrounding environment.anyhoo, reaching fortingal i discover a grave stone with exactly the same designs as those in the grave yard of st rules monifieth where i am from. both churches were established in the 6th centuary both reputed to be sites of pre celtic worship. at the back of monifieth there is a hill called crow wood, which is of the exact same consistency as that at dunkeld. hard packed dry soil totally incongrous with the surrounding landscape. aparently when the population of britain was around 3-400, 150 or so lived at ardestie which is at the back of monifieth which means monks land. there are another few sites i believe to be tombs or such like. incidently you talk of the age of the monkey in that key carry on. a symbol above the door to the church hall has a monkey with a chain round its waist and the latin good shall over come evil above . no one knows its meening. could it be a hazy refrence to a time when man was free in the monkey age but fell hostage to an unseen force which controls the will of man. spookily, my gran lived in killwinning and i spent summers there as a boy. -

I have not been to fortingal for some years . . . a tree doctor had just visited the 9000 year old yew tree and had lopped of a branch . . . I could not help myself, it had to come home with me. I think I will one day make a rune set out of part of it.

the little i is a concious act
Sun, April 10, 2005 - 6:17 PMthe rose quartz incident. on the journey there two unexpected stone circles were visited. the first circle was at the side of a road beside a single house shaped like a loaf(please excuse my lack of geography). i practiced a little breathing technique i call tree breath. i project filaments out of the bottom of my feet into the earth while projecting filaments out into the cosmos my intent that of acting like a conduit to help digest some heavy energies( energy follows feeling and thought). deep in breath draw up energies out breath let them flow out then reverse. a moment with the giant oak that stood there to then off again, dunkeld.
i went to look at a statue that had caught my eye as we entered dunkeld. up a wee street in the square beside the church. put there to comemorate a mosonic dude of good soul. had a good nosey then back to the car. no one there. look to my left ,hmm, hill, energy body tickle, next thing i am running up the hill, shape of hill blah blah blah. this time when i entered the circle my body wanted to spin clockwise. a few spins a bit of tree breath then calm stepout of the circle not before i removed some plastic bags from within it mind you then wack little boy how would have been a little intimidated by a spinning man. i am well aware of the time of year and the sexual crescendo if you like. i loof up two crows are mating good omen
down the hill another two crows mating great omen at this time i am also thinking how some of the prophecies are being put back a litttle due to the fight to balance the energies across the world. there back and we continue onto aberfeldy.
coming into aberfeldy there is a rainbow low across the loch.stop at a the little shop go in to see if they sell socks(another long story of the wet feet variety though). no socks book on myths and legends of the area. quick flick the lady of lawers. seer whos predictions have all come true bar one which states that the land for seven miles around ben lawers will become frozen and barren.
onto fortingale.
first time for me as i say in my profile im a recluse. what an enchanted little place. i had an ulterior motive for visiting the tree, i am waiting for a staff to be presented by spirit and had cheekily hoped that one would be shown at the tree so i took my saw.
the tree had a few visitors so i had a look at the grave stones then into the church walk up to the open bible and collection plate. the bilble is at revelations i put my hand in my pocket to leave a donation in the collection plate. i had already left two offerings to the circles and i had 13p. out of the church and the tree is alone. quickly over the wall and start scanning the tree for any signs, shit duck farmer in tractor. whats that a rectangular rose qurtz. no cant be . some one must have left it here i will take it to the centre of the tree and leave it there as it was quite exposed. i place the stone at the base of one of the trunks. the stone is for you you nut, oh. i go back and get it then home. expecting the stone on the way home and there is a rainbow bang in the centre of it. that night 13 and the moon which i had been worrying to death for the past few days led me to you folks.
