Temple Chapel - about 5 or 6 miles from Roslyn Chapel

Three of us went to visit this interesting old place! Nestles in a wee glen it is very quite there, surrounded by trees. It is found at the bottom of the little village by the same name that consists of 1 road with houses on either side. And more beautiful trees.

There are lots of unworn carvings with extremely obvious Templar and Masonic symbolism. I particularly like the way there are trees growing in the walls of the ruin, which by the way has a basic outdoor lectern within its walls - so it is obviously still in use, at least to someone.
